Introducing And First Time One The Bed

I'm absolutely livid at the moment! :rant: The guy i got the piggies from works with animals and he told me he had cleaned the cage a day or so before he brought them to me(3days ago), today finally was pay day and i ran to the petshop to get some bedding and things so i can clean out the cage... i was horrified when i started moving the top layer of shavings away to discover about 10-15cm of old stinky caked shavings and mueslie and hay mess! i can't believe they were in the cage with that! :eek: and i can't believe he would let the cage get that way! I've washed, scrubbed and disinfected the cage and put the new bedding in with their new snuggie, tunnel, bowls and hay ball and the result just made me happy, they have been nonstop going since i introduced them into the new cage, way more vocal, active and just generally busy little piggies. Still uploading the 2nd video but here is the 1st one
The noise they keep doing with wiggling their hips is at 1:46 - think this is rumble strutting? usually followed by popcorning(or bucking?!) and dashing around, they do it a lot more in the 2nd video. At 2:19 Widget finally get's in the snuggie:yahoo:

I didn't see the rumble-strut but Widget's reaction to the snuggie is lovely. He got in, looked around, got out and was clearly happy about his new discovery :)

Urgh sounds like this guy is all talk when it comes to looking after them! Well, they're young, they've got a whole life of loving care to look forward to now :)

Absolutely :) and with kind people on here giving me advice and help i'll make sure they have the best life :)

Thank you very much :) yup they are a handfull. Widget managed to jump to my chair from the bed today even, he's by far the more gutsy and curious one but keeps me on my toes :)
 
Just had Widget for his first 'lap time' as he's more relaxed and settled, he decided lap isn't for him and he prefers the shoulder

Man these boys are just so cute, I do love this colour on piggies its so pretty. They remind me of my boy Finn (passed away a few months ago) when he was a baby.

Thank u :D yea their color is really nice, i'd love to know what their dad looked like coz their mom is a deep caramel brown.
