Hi there,
I've got a 2 month old girl, Taco, and i am looking to get her a companion. She's been getting used to her new home and situation. Was unable to get two initially but I know it'd be best for her if I do.
Was looking for another young lady to pair with her. I've read through all the articles here on bonding and introducing two piggies. Just wanted to know any tips from anyone who's done it with two younger gals.

Much thanks

There aren’t really any more tips than what you’ve read in the guides. Things to note are to make sure it’s in a neutral place (where Taco hasn’t been), thoroughly clean the cage and rearrange it and leave them to work it out - either they get on or they don’t. No slow introductions i.e. putting together then separating at night and doing the same thing the next day.

Whether they get on is up to them. Compatibility is more important than age. I would try and take her to a rescue that does dating. If there aren’t any nearby then you will have to get another elsewhere. If you do that, Just be sure to double check the sex of the companion you get her.

Taco really needs companionship as soon as possible. She’s young and at her age should still be in guinea pig school. So I would urge you to get her a friend as soon as possible.

Good luck, I hope you can find Taco and lovely friend soon, don’t discount a neutered boar either, they add a new dimension 😆
