I just can’t seem to find much discussion of this from even the past 10 years, so just curious if anyone has any up to date info on whether storing a bag of unmixed critical care powder in the freezer is okay?
I think dry food stuffs probably don't freeze well unfortunately. Freezing is based on the freezing temperature of water and dry food might not freeze properly or uniformly enough to be assured of freshness when thawed. Bacteria in dry food might survive the storage process.

honestly that’s what i kinda thought. my vet was the one who suggested freezing it and there’s a few old posts on here, the guinea pig/rabbit reddits and guinea lynx mentioning freezing it is fine but i’d love a more solid answer! my vet gave me a ginormous bag of it last year for one of my pigs who unfortunately passed away not long after so i threw it in the freezer since it’s so big and was opened, i’m quite cautious about using it
