Such a shame that some people just don't like to take advice which is given politely and in the best interests of their piggies.
I must admit the cage size guide could be misunderstood because of the difference between the RSPCA/Humane Society recommendations and the Forum 'strongly recommended' guidance. Maybe there is a way of making this clearer. I guess some people will think that the minimum recommended by the RSPCA/Humane Society is OK (hopefully we can convince them otherwise).
I am not making excuses for the rudeness of the other person in this case but just thought i would take a look at the cage size guide as though i was someone looking at it for the first time.
I have noticed a rise in the number of people being rude on the forum, not sure if this is a symptom of frustrations/anger caused by the current situation with COVID19. I know this doesn't excuse rude comments from anyone but we don't always know the situation of the OP or the state of their mental health. I know i find that currently i can get angry quite easily and overreact to things that normally would not bother me too much. If i find i am angry when typing an email or message i save a draft and then go back to it a little later (when i have had chance to calm down). I often find that i can then write a much more reasoned response.
