I have a few of my Guinea pigs on antibiotics at the moment to help them stop sneezing and coughing (liquid baytril I believe) and hopefully get better. I asked the vet for a probiotic and all they had was one called Nutraflora for cats and dogs. The ingredients are: (Probiotic Bacteria [enteroccus faecium], prebiotics, natural antioxidants, vitamin b12).
They sound fairly natural and it comes in capsules to break into their food. I'm just worried about it being for cats and dogs because they are meat eaters. The vet said she can't 100% guarantee it's OK for Guinea pigs but it doesn't say that it's not.
I am going to order vetark pro c probiotic on amazon but that won't come until wednesday and I want to get some good bacteria back into their system. I'll post pics of the front and back, thank you.
