Hi! I've just got a box from my new kettle lol and it's the perfect size for the two baby boars I'm getting soon, is the white shiny layer on the outside of the box with the pictures on safe if they were to chew it? I get so worried about everything that could possibly harm them!:nod:

It depends if they are chewers or not.
I also use the occasional shiny box, as in all honesty it gets peed in and ruined before mine have much of a chance to chew it!
Plus Eddi (our main chewer) only really likes wood.
I would just keep an eye on it and make sure they don't eat too much of the outside, but in the early days when they are still nervous I don't think it will be a problem - bet they love the inside though!

Thankyou so much! Yes I guess I'll have to be finding now boxes a lot for them, I'm sure it won't be a problem for as long as the box is still alive lol :)

Some people use bottomless cardboard boxes (just cut the bottom part out) that way the pee should just go down and a box should last you a little longer .
Maybe get plain cardboard as well , no ink , printing etc. Especially if they chew it .
