Bella James
Junior Guinea Pig
Thankyou for the replyI would use it although I have seen people on here advising not to.
Thankyou so much! Yes I guess I'll have to be finding now boxes a lot for them, I'm sure it won't be a problem for as long as the box is still alive lolIt depends if they are chewers or not.
I also use the occasional shiny box, as in all honesty it gets peed in and ruined before mine have much of a chance to chew it!
Plus Eddi (our main chewer) only really likes wood.
I would just keep an eye on it and make sure they don't eat too much of the outside, but in the early days when they are still nervous I don't think it will be a problem - bet they love the inside though!
New*Thankyou so much! Yes I guess I'll have to be finding now boxes a lot for them, I'm sure it won't be a problem for as long as the box is still alive lol![]()
YES OF COURSE!I'm about to replace one of my boys beds/hideys. I bought 6 bottles of wine, the box they came in is perfect. I bought the wine because of the box, honest!![]()
Great idea! Thanks a lotSome people use bottomless cardboard boxes (just cut the bottom part out) that way the pee should just go down and a box should last you a little longer .
Maybe get plain cardboard as well , no ink , printing etc. Especially if they chew it .
What a cute piggy! Love the photo
