Hi! It looks like a burst cyst to me; please see a vet this week during regular opening hours.

A gland is always centred in the middle of the back directly above the genitalia, which yours doesn't seem to be.

I searched up burst cysts and I couldn’t find anything that looked quite like what Harv has. I believe it’s just a great gland but should it be black like this?

The grease gland sits roughly where your two circles interlock. And yes, a burst cyst can look like this if it is more than a day since it has burst. In any case, it would be good if you had it checked. ;)
