It’s getting hot! Are you ready? 🥵

At last, our home feels like it’s cooling down. Yesterday’s breeze was a big help
I think that was the hardest summer week we have had especially with our furry family members.

( I am not sure I want to look at the long term weather forecast.)

Thinking of everyone still battling the heatwave in Europe.

Thank you! I really hope so too. I can't wait for cooler nights at least to get the worst of the heat out of my flat.
 
One of my girls is still a bit quieter than I'd like. Is anyone else's pig still a bit lethargic, laying around a lot..? She's not quite herself and it's hard to say why. It's 20 degrees outside currently.

Her weight is okay. We did introduce an over enthusiastic, possibly dominant boy on 13/6 so maybe that's contributed.
 
I hope the weather goes back to what used to be"normal" in the UK and Europe after this next week. The water situation is getting concerning, all my 3 rainwater barrels are at least half empty. Not remembering to water my veggies and fruit bushes regularly is affecting them already, I don't want to have to use the hosepipe/outside tap to keep tham alive 😒

How’s everyone & everypig doing this time?

Wally’s in love with his ice pod! He moved his house yesterday evening, and managed to put it on top of his ice pod.
(Frozen poo is becoming a normal thing here! 😂)

Herman still thinks ice bottles/pods are mostly evil intruders, he prefers the cool spot that’s left when I move them.
I am going to need a proper nap by friday, already had a couple of danger naps on the sofa the last 2 evenings.
 
The temperature is back with a vengeance, made the mistake of finally sorting my shed out yesterday and now I'm struggling with the pain, still got another week to rest up before I'm back at work. Got plenty for the tip. 😁

Eek, Herman has a dental(vet) appointment at lunchtime I have been keeping my fingers crossed for a cold day. The weather doesn’t seem to have heard me, although it’s predicted to stay a little cooler than yesterday.
It’s lovely and cool here, right now at 5amish.
We are all over this extra hot weather. As a friend of mine says “It can do one!”
