I'm so heartbroken and in tears, such and awful thing to go through he's my first rainbow piggy and I really feel like I've let him down. I know only you truly understand how much these cute little piggies mean to us.
RIP by beautiful boy I loved you so much , popcorn free my Alex until we meet again x

He's cute, u haven't let him down, it's an awful time but looking at the pics he was a cherished piggie. x

Only just seen this post. So sorry for your loss. It's so hard. You did the right thing as advised by the vet. (((Hugs))) Alby will keep him company too.

I have been away and only just seen this. Some lovely posts on here and all I can add is that with every animal I have ever let go irrespective of being the only decision that could be made, even a dearly loved horse who broke her leg, I have felt untold guilt with each passing. Those times when you have to make that decision are so hard they rip your heart to shreds and I think you only learn to cope, not fully accept.

All I can say in seeing a recent friends father suffer through ill health and basically in constant pain and unable to move when he was so active, the last decision we can make for our animal friends is the kindest we can do. Maybe a day too early or a day too late but we help them move on and isn't that all we can do?

You are clearly a devoted Guinea mum and just know that Alex will be happy now, free from pain and fear, that is the best gift we can ever give anyone x

Oh thank you. I went to a funeral yesterday and it puts life in perspective. Being part of animals lives certainly help you to respect life and how we deal with such a painful process. Xx

@MycuteBoys Thought you'd like to see these photos I took when I did the bonding x being a piggy was hard work
