JellyBean, our little 1-month-old boar, got his head stuck in one of the squares of the cage divider. I was really worried! Katie and Oreo were panicking and trying to help him, and I had to call my mother to help me find the wire cutters. Thank God he was able to breathe, or else we would've lost him! He seems okay, breathing, and I think he was eating a little when I gave him some celery leaves, but he's traumatized. All he is doing now is laying there by himself and breathing very quickly. Seeing him like this hurts.. I don't know any vets that work on guinea piggies where I am.. Most of them only work on cats and dogs. I'm just hoping he will be okay. I mean, I'd be traumatized, too, right after that, but I'm worried that he's gonna stop eating or drinking.. I took the liberty to replace that part of the divider and then cover the bottom of the divider up, so he can't stick his head through there anymore. Oreo and Katie seem fine, but I don't know if JellyBean will ever be the same happy little guinea Piggie again.. ;(
