Glad they are doing well.

I came to this thread late, but just wanted to pick up on the weights thing. My dobby was 39g when born (long story, learned my lesson) and at 4 weeks was 147g. We think he was maybe a week early but either way he and his sister were tiny and slow growers. He's still a little one now. So maybe these guineas are just wee ones.

Thanks for the update, sounds as if the boys are beginning to settle down with you - enjoy this time, there is nothing quite like a youngster learning how to be a piggyx)x)

My boys have taken to sleeping in seperate bed's at all times, they never snuggle together any more? And always challenging each other, but not fighting? Is this ok? They eat ok together and follow each other around but then they'll fall out lol

That is totally normal. Mine never snuggle together. They like their space.

Boars often do like their space in my experience :)

I try to think of it as... I have friends in my life that I would live with, and I like them very much but i wouldnt want to share a bed with them! :))

quick update for you all.. they are gaining weight nicely and very happy little piggies, they weighed 240g two week ago, cant remember what they were last week but its a gain. They are at the vets weekly so she's weighing them there.

Cuddles dodgy white patches have disappeared, they were not from fungal but from the mites/lice, so luckily i never used any home remedies advised to me or i would have been treating something thats not even there! (advised from someone off the board).

They are still having weekly jabs to treat for mites and lice and we are slowly seeing improvement (such a shame for them, the poor souls).

I've introduced some veg and they love it so i'm carrying on with that slowly so they are mainly eating pellets and hay to bulk them more.

They have lost alot of confidence in me i think due to vet visits and **** pee'd off with scratchin all the time! I do try and cuddle them each day so i can nit comb them but they dont like being held for long or being apart!

They seem to be best mates still, been a funny few weeks with their behaviour but i think they have sorted it now, lots of humping and noisy moments but they're doing great.

I love them to bits!^)
