I have become aware of a 5 year old piggy that someone is looking to rehome as 'the kids don't bother with it'. I have just finished a set of nights and so am all tired and emotional and this just made me sad. It made me wonder if there were many people who would be willing to take on a piggy of this age in response to a private advert and does this mean that this piggy will spend the rest of his days in a home where he does not have a piggy friend and does not get any attention.
I think I might just have to mention him to MrS when he gets home - I know he wont agree to me taking him on but I feel so bad for the little man. Just out of curiosity - if I did take him on and put him in his cage on the lounge floor where Toby & Barney free range, would that alter the relationship between Toby & Barney or would everything stay the same?
