Lots Of Healing Vibes For Emma Please - Malign Cancer Diagnosis

That is one of the joy's of nursing a terminal animal - they don't seem to know that they should be sad.
Hard for us as we know where it is headed, but wonderful to live life normally without any fear of what is to come for them.

Thank you and it's so true.

When she was first diagnosed, I didn't and still don't really know what to expect.

But I am taking each day as it comes and feel blessed for each day she is here with us.

It's lovely seeing her just get on with her life as if nothing's wrong and so long as she's happy, thats the main thing x

Emma has been at the vets this morning along with Ellen and Edward as they have all had nail trims and check ups.

Emma's tumour has barely grown in the last 3 weeks since we found it. In the grand scheme of things, I'm not sure whether that's a good sign or not.

But overall, my vet is happy with her and concluded that she isn't in any discomfort.

My cat is having his jabs in 3 weeks time so Emma is going along too for another checkup unless there are developments in the mean time.

So here's to another day celebrating my little girls bravery and fight xx

Go Emma! Show them how tough you are.

They are such fighters aren't they. My vet said that one of my boys had one of the worst cases of arthritis he had ever yet. He used to stand up at the side of the cage like that, and he could "jog" pretty fast when he wanted something!

Aww bless him. So cute.

They really are fighters. It's upsetting me today looking at her as although she looks well, I know she really isn't :(

hello lancashire not sure if ones allowed to give full address I really don't mind but I don't want to break rules. yes I'm born and bred in a area know for witches

I have noticed today that Emma is scratching the area where the tumour is located :( Is this because she is aware it is there or could it be hurting her?

The area was shaved for the needle biopsy but that was nearly 4 weeks ago so the fur has more or less grown back x

Well lass. i can't help on the medical side. But give her lots love and talk to her about how wonderful she's is and doing. i wish lass I could help more. Love and Stuff from Dave and Kath. YOU BE STRONG

I would think if it hurt she would be biting it more than scratching so am more inclined to think the hair has made her itchy as it has grown back but you could run it past your vet in case?

Thank you. That's reassuring.

She was at the vets on Tuesday and my vet said she isn't in any discomfort but I just wondered.

I will ask though although the itchiness due to the fur growing back does make sense x
