Lump behind ear on guinea pig

I found this lump on my guinea pigs ear and panicked would anyone know what it is?

Maybe it could be an abbcesss of some sort? You should go to an experianced small animal vet to let them check it out. Good luck to you and your piggy!

Please have it vet checked promptly; any lump needs a hands-on examination. All we can do is guess as much as you, unfortunately.

Hi guys been to the vets with Fig and she does have an abscess behind her ear and been given baytril as an antibiotic and metacam as a painkiller. Thank you for your help yesterday it was much appreciated when I panicking. much love from me and my little pig x

Just what I thought, a nasty little abcess. Luckily it was an abcess and not a tumor. Hope Fig feels better in a few days! Keep us updated.
