Hi everyone,
My pig has had a lump under his chin for about 5 months now. He has seen 4 different exotic vets, has had it lanced and drained, and has been on antibiotics before. The bills are getting ridiculous, and I am a college student so I can't really afford to go to the vet much more. I am trying my best to keep the lump open and I am trying to drain it myself, which is working. I get a cheesy yellowish toothpaste like consistency puss that comes out of the lump. The lump gets really swollen every few weeks and then once I drain it, it goes down dramatically in size. Also, for a while now, my pig has been itching 1 certain spot on his back, creating a decent sized bald spot, and I noticed that today there is actually a lump there and the same puss from the lump under his chin is coming out of it. I am just so tired of worrying about these painful lumps on him. I know it really hurts him when I try to clean it out. Does any one have advice on what this could be?
