I’m trying to take it at their pace. But when Mabel climbed on me without encouragement it was a wonderful feeling!!

I didn’t really know what to expect to be honest. I’ve had the girls 9 days so is that good progress for this time?
They occasionally get scared when I move and run for cover - is this normal?

It's incredibly fast, some piggies take weeks or even months. The running away is normal.

I’ve considered raising their c&c cage but means I can’t sit in it with them which they seem to like. Any advice?

They and you are doing so well. I've had guinea pigs who have taken years to get this confident.

My boys have that tent, they love it. I bought them the bigger one as it's now far too small but they insist on cramming themselves in the small one. This is the state of my tent pegs!
