thanks for all the response
i do not feel i have neglected the guinea pig as i have been trying lots of things after visiting a very good pet shop taoday and showing them a picture i am now treating with spot on treatment and antibacterial powder. although it does look painful and looks like the piggy is in discomfort he seems quite happy eating all his food and drinking ok and loves running round the garden.
lets just hope this treatment helps i was just hoping someone else would of seen something like it and could recommend a treatment.
thanks for all the response

hereford.
i really dont think he is in as much pain as you all think. he has had this for over a year but he is eating ok and drinking ok and happy to be handled if he was off his food/ drink or deteriating in any other way of course he would be taken to vets asap but as i have gone twice before and he seems ok otherwise i had no reason to think anything else i am not a bad person and cant believe the negative response i am getting.
why would anyone think that i have posted this as a sick joke!
i didnt want people to diagnose it i was just wondering if anyone had had the same problem with one of there pigs I'm sorry for asking!
