My eldest was diagnosed with mange. The vet said it's not contagious to humans, or other animals like a dog. It would only be contagious to other pigs. So I separated my boys, and will have them that way for probably 20 more days to a month, until the treatment on my other pig is done and he's cured. I've just been wondering though, is it really not contagious to humans? I've been a bit worried, seeing as my head's been rather itchy for a few days now. Though, apparently my pig has had mange for almost a year now (was misdiagnosed as "just a fungus" at first by a useless vet) .
