ok i just gave marble a bit more food but wen i put him back in his cage i realised there was a bit of blood on my top from where his bum had been is this serious?
I think he does need examining to check what is up with him, whether gastric, renal or otherwise. If you can get to AP or an experienced vet/rodentologist, it would be worth it.
Sorry alcesterpigs thanks for your offer but think we are going to take him to a vet, if they draw another blank then i will give you a call, he seems to be eating more now, and drinking so hopefully getting better.
yep just done it, took a few seconds, we managed to get most if not all of it out, what he passed was about the same size as a grape, so he must feel better now, thanks very much for your help.
Guilty conscience, you have just reminded me I have three pigs in need of my attention!
Practical experience etc is a good way to learn about anything.
