Meet Jynx!

They are so gorgeous

Heather - have you picked up on the fact that there is a meet planned in Manchester next month.
It’s under Forum Events.

Daisy and Luna finally kissed and made up! It's early days, but it's looking good!

I'd tried bonding them a couple of times in a playpen and in the outside run over the last couple of months. Signs had been really positive, but Luna would very quickly start lunging at Daisy as soon as they were back in their (completely and thoroughly cleaned) cage. Paula, our boarder, offered to give them a go where she could offer a completely neutral space for an extended weekend and there's been minimal drama.

Fingers crossed for these queens! I've altered their setup so it's as unfamiliar as possible.

My word they are truely wonderful. So glad that they are still getting on well.

Keep Daisy in your thoughts! She developed bloat last week and was hospitalized on Friday. She's had bloods and an x-ray done today which haven't shown anything unusual. However, she's begun to salivate heavily, implying a possible obstruction which could be systemic (e.g. an ovarian cyst pressing on her organs) and has only started showing this week. Prognosis is guarded, so she's having an ultrasound tomorrow and we'll see what that shows.

Daisy's looking perkier today and is starting to eat by herself, so she's being discharged this evening. However, the ultrasound showed she has a tumour in her uterus and ovarian cysts, plus a lot of loose liquid in her abdomen. The bloat is a secondary symptom of this. She's not a candidate for a spay right now as she probably wouldn't make it, but if she continues to improve, we can reassess. If she deteriorates, then it's probably her time. :(

Oh I am sorry. Your lovely Daisy. I do hope that she can remain comfortable for as long as possible. Bless her.
