Merab’s Spay

I'm so sorry to hear this - as has been said, take care of yourself aswell as your other guinea pigs.
 
I’m so sorry to hear that Merab has passed to rainbow bridge. Florence has also left for the bridge after her spay. I’m always here if you need to talk, and I’m sure the piggies will be looking after each other in another life x
 
So sorry to hear the sad news about Merab. She was a beautiful piggy and you must be heartbroken.

Just caught up with this. I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. Merab has been loved so much by you and you have done everything for her. Loads of hugs to yiu and your piggies. Popcorn free Merab.

Huge huge huge hugs and strength to both you, @Stayc1989 and the remaining piggies. Please know that you took action for Merab and Florences best interests and to give them a better life. It was not the wrong decision, its just that sometimes how sucky life can pan out. Thinking of you both

I am so sorry to hear your very sad news. Sending you and your herd massive hugs @Merab's Slave, Merab will be greatly missed at home and on the Forum, she was one very special piggy. X
 
Oh no I'm so sad to hear this, poor beautiful floof. Sending hugs for you and sad wheeks for your piggies... I almost cried on the train reading your post, Merab was such a character and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by everyone on the forum x

Sadly the underlying issue turned out to be several fluid filled cystic lumps throughout her abdomen and groin area.
Despite the skill and care of the vet it was just too much for Merab and she died under the anaesthetic.
I collected her and Jemimah a short while ago.
Jemimah was happy to be back with the others.
I put Merab in the cage so they could acknowledge her death in their own way.
It was bittersweet to watch Priscilla licking a paw.
She has now been buried in the garden next to Keziah.
I will post a tribute on the Rainbow Bridge thread later.

I'm so heart broken for you, and I'm so so so sorry that is didn't go as hoped. You did the right thing for Merab and either way, it would've taken her in the end. She had a beautiful and happy life with you and she will always know how loved and cherished she was. God bless. Always here if you need to talk 🌈✨💖
 
I'm so very shocked and sorry to read your beautiful Merab decided it was time to go and popcorn over rainbow bridge. Huge hugs to you and your piggies. Please don't feel bad about it, you were doing your best for her and that's all you could do. Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to grieve xx

I’m so sorry :( your love for dear Merab shone through everything you posted about her. It’s just not fair that they don’t live for longer.
 
Oh I’m so so sorry, this brought a tear to my eye. I guess we see so many photos of each other’s piggies and hear their stories, it feels like we know them.

I’m sorry I’ve been busy all day so have only just noticed your update. I am absolutely gutted for you that you have lost this beautiful girl. It’s heatbreaking watching them say their goodbyes but I do believe it helps them understand what’s happened. Hugest hugs to you. Popcorn free beautiful Merab x
 
I was absolutely gutted when i heard about merab and florence, i was nervous for you and stayc last night when i see the thread about the two spays on the same day :soz:
