Teenage Guinea Pig
the newest photo of Milo reminded me of a very embarrassing story from January time ") i was ill, and had been rushing around my animals, to get everybody sorted out. i went outside and did the piggies food and hay, and then came back inside to go to bed.
the next day when i went to check on everybody, i couldn't find Allie anywhere. i was in pieces, and we pretty much tore apart my garden. we were pretty hopeful though, as because of all of our animals, we pet proofed everything to keep them safe. i searched for Allie for hours that night, and the morning after. i thought i was going insane, as i could swear i could hear her squeaking, but just couldn't find her anywhere. i eventually convinced myself that it was in my head, as it sounded muffled and eerie.
the morning after (when Allie had been missing for about 32 hours 8...), I went out to search for her again. And still couldn't find her. then my little brother came over to me, grinning like the cheshire cat, and handed me Allie. I sobbed into her fur, and took her to the vets to make sure she wasn't ill. as it turns out, Zacari found her in the 'animal' wheelie bin, snuggled into some hay. as it turned out, i'd thrown her away with the hay the day that i'd been ill :red
needless to say, i've never rushed anything pet related since...
