How do you deal with the "cravings" to get more piggies?

I know you can do the logical thinking - do I have enough space/time/money etc - but that doesn't change that deep-down "longing".

Where am I going wrong? Our little family dynamic works well as it is, and having space left over means (when I convince my other half) we also have room to foster, but I still crave the thrill of welcoming new pattering paws into the house!

I think about possible surprise vet costs and how I can handle that. It usually helps me to stay within my pet limit.

I remember back to when I had 16 and realise I dont have the energy for that many anymore! With fewer numbers I can spoil them all rather than spread my time, money and resources thinner. Plus..nail time..if every other pig acts like youre trying to murder them it becomes a chore very quickly

I avoid anywhere that sells piggies and if I go somewhere that does sell piggies I stay away from that section lol. I would love more but haven’t really got the space but i’m a sucker for sad fluffy faces which is the reason I have the two I have now.

I do the opposite. I go and see other guinea pigs when I can, and look at the SSPCA site every day. I have still come close a couple of time though.

Honestly, my landlord would kill me I wasn't even meant to come home with the two I had, but nobody was making me take them back.

Pretty sure that excuse won't work twice, however, which keeps me very honest.
