Hey, well there are many ways you can help rescue's. When you buy/order your guinea pigs food/veggies you could buy a little extra and donate it to the rescue of your choice. This helps us out a great deal. Ofcourse there are also the money donations desperatly needed for operations/medicine. Both sophie and i have dental buns that desperatly need operations. You could do some raffles and raise money for rescues that way, or selling off some old junk you have laying around and donate the funds to the rescue. Passing on the details of rescue's and their animals to friends and people you know that are looking into getting a pet. Or maybe if you go to bootsales/ garden fete's, keep your eye out for items like pet carriers/cages/towels and material's. These are much needed items in all rescues. Childrens wooden toys are great for piggys to gnaw on, such as stacking bricks (plain wooden ones)
I'm not saying you have to do this, I'm just giving you other idea's of how you could help us. Sophie has a raffle going on at the moment, the tickets arnt very much. I'm currently selling tons of kids items for funds for my rescue, so if you know anyone with young children or have young children yourself you could help me by passing on my details to that person who could then tell me what ages they wished to buy for and i can then sort out some pictures and prices.
Finding the time to actually fundraise ourselves is very hard, luckly at the moment my poorly bunny is getting better and i have a little bit of time to post items and sort things out. When we get in sick pigs and buns it is hard for us to find the time do pee let alone do anything else, despite how much we want too ( in regards to fundraising that is)
Anyway i hope i havnt bored you by now and given you some more ideas.
