My Beautiful Girl Is Gone

My darling Fudge is gone and my heart is broken.

Her heart started to struggle yesterday evening. We where offered treatment but I always promised my girl the minute she had enough I would help her pass over. And that's what I did.

You where the most amazing little creature I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I loved you with all my heart and il never forget how strong you where these past two years. You came into my life at 4 years old and I'm so grateful I got to love you until the ripe old age of 8 and a half. You proved everyone wrong with how strong you where. I know you didn't suffer as you let me know you'd had enough straight away and I kept my promise that I'd help you leave when you wanted to, just like I helped you stay when you wanted that too.

She knew I was there with her yesterday at the vets and she gazed at me whilst I sang her song to her before closing her eyes, just like she did the first time she heard it. It became her song and always will be.

Sleep tight my angel. Mummy loves you.

I'm so so sorry Adelle. Fudge could not have asked for a better mum and you stuck to your promise to her right to the end. I know it doesn't help now but what you learnt through Fudge has helped so many pigs and will continue to do so. She left a massive legacy. No-one will ever forget her. Sweet dreams special angel.
 
Adelle, I'm so sorry to read Fudgy has gone. You were the most amazing mum to her, to the very end. Rest in peace Fudgy, take care Adelle, we all love you and are thinking of you in this tough time xx
 
Thanks everyone. My heart is shattered and the tears just wont stop. She has left a massive hole in my life. Nothing could ever replace such an amazing little girl.x

Hello. Sorry I don't know you in person but I've read about Fudge and pls accept my deep sorry and heart felt sympathy. She as I can tell was a star and you had amazing piggie their. Well done with helping her on the way it's not easy and I might be a big chap but I gave her a few tears. xx. RIP FUDGE you made a impression. x
 
I'm so sorry Adelle, I'm crying reading this so I can't imagine how you must feel right now.You gave her a wonderful life and I truly mean that, I was always in awe of your love and dedication to her.You put her needs 1st even at the end when she'd had enough.There will be a big gap in your heart now but I know fudge will be looking down on you to keep an eye on you.

Omg I'm so so sorry to hear she's gone, I won't lie I'm tearing up too! There is now a big hole in this forum without your beautiful, famous little fighter teaching us all how to piggy slave. We all love her so much.

She was such a lucky girl to have an angel like you watching over her, always putting her needs first even though it broke your heart on her last day. Your strength, love and dedication is something we can all learn from.

I'm so sorry Adelle, I know how you feel. I didn't to open this thread, thinking 'oh no not fudge' but she had the best life with you and didn't want for a single thing. I know how you are feeling, it's the same way I felt loosing Gwen. Huge hugs, I wish I could give you one for real. If you ever need to talk just drop me a message.

I have not been a member very long so am not familiar with your Fudge's story but having lost my beloved piggy yesterday I am there with you and send hugs. I am still crying and have shed a tear for you too. RIP Fudge your suffering is over xx
 
I am so sorry to read this, she was such an inspirational little piggie and you also showed us all time and time and again what an amazing and inspiring piggymom you are.

Fudge living to 8.5 is phenomenal especially given all her health problems. I have no doubt that had she ended up with anyone but you she may never have lived such a long life.

It's so heartbreaking that she is gone :(:(:(:soz::soz::soz: , we need some better crying smilies although none could even come close to conveying the sadness everyone feels hearing this news.

I'm so so very sorry you've lost the beloved Fudge who I followed here on the forum. As mentioned above, she lived the best life a piggy could want and you always gave her the chance to fight her illnesses and this has clearly showed with how many years she graced you with. I think I speak for us all on the forum when we say she will be missed and my thoughts are with you because I understand how hard this must be. Rest in peace Fudge x

So so sorry to hear of your great loss. She must have had an amazing life with you there to fight for her day after day. It leaves such an enormous hole in your heart when a beloved piggy has to go.x
