Well done on you!
Castle Crags looks rather impressive! I loved our one holiday we spent touring the Lake District.

I had one day when I was so busy on the forum that hub had already gone to bed before I could do the second half, but otherwise I have managed all 18 stairs rounds. Need to tot it up now...
Anyway, I can run up the first 5 flights before I my legs are starting get a bit week and I am starting to get puffy but that is a distinct improvement on last Friday, so I am not unhappy.
Muscles don't build up in just a few days and this is a daily (or currently still twice daily) heart rate booster for the long haul. As long as I am that bit fitter and stronger with every passing week, I am happy!
Still having pudding legs after each round... but at least they are not stiffening up! And I am not quite as totally puffed out afterwards.
And my weight has stopped climbing with me. Apparently it doesn't like the exercise.
OK, I have managed 348 metres so far, which is about the height of the valley town just outside Basel I went to school in Switzerland and lived for several years before I moved to the UK; actually it is the height of my 6th form college on a hill on the outskirts of the town.

I should have my lunch looking out over Lake Geneva by tomorrow (372 m), have dinner on Lake Constance (395 m) and reach the top of Bodmin Moor (420 m) by Sunday and the height of my home village in Switzerland where I grew up on Monday (491 m). Exmoor (519 m) the day after and then onto tackling Dartmoor before moving to the Peak District...
We should start posting pictures of places we are visiting virtually; it is more fun that way!
