Hello everyone.
My guinea pig (named Broom) has been sneezing a lot with a running nose, so we brought him to a vet and now he needs to take antibiotics for 10 to 14 days, morning and night, using syringe.
When we feed Broom the medicine, we follow the vet`s instruction to wrap him with a towel and a bit of moderate force, since he's very reluctant and has been a nervous piggy. This morning he sounded very annoyed when we took him out and feed him medicine, which is very rare as he is very passive compared to our other piggy.
Both of my pigs used to be happy and excited when we feed them fresh veggies, but now Broom is indifferently staying in the shades and just eats the pellets we fed them in early morning (emotional issue? hope they don't hv good memories)
He has respiratory infection, and we are really worried about his health condition.
We need help. Thanks for any input.
