My guinea pig (Who I'm assuming is 3 to 4 years old because we got him from a cousin who could no longer care for him) has developed a little bump, nothing really huge, behind his ear and I was wondering if it is something serious I need to take him to a vet about or no. I don't currently have a picture of it, seeing as I'm not at home currently, but I'll try to add one as soon as I can.

It is most likely a rather harmless sebaceous cyst, but if you can afford to do so, please have it seen. We can only guess and not diagnose. Any lump should be properly assessed by a vet.

Thank you! I'll probably take care of that this weekend or the next, whenever I have time.
