:( poor Patrick! Keep that incredible fighting spirit of yours going! Loads of healing vibes heading your way!

Fingers crossed for Patrick! He's a little fighter and I hope he has the strength to get better.
Don't stop fighting Patrick! X

I actually cannot believe this, woke up to get P his feed to find him at his water bottle, he then turned round and started eating hay he's not ate anything really on his own for sometime - a tad surprised although it is leading me to believe his kidney's are perhaps compromised!

My little man run up for veggies - :o! He's currently munching his way through a big pile of vegetables, I actually think today he will be able to handle any test necessary to find what's wrong.

I went to sleep wishing he would pass during the night so we wouldn't have the vet's ordeal and my little man could rest but now he's decided he want's to live clearly.

I can't believe how he went from being so weak and unable to hold his head to actually eating.

I suspect there's a reason I call him the miracle pig, let's hope Patrick can perform another miracle! Perhaps he know's Glen is back tomorrow and he needs to be strong for us to have enough time to find out what's wrong!

Patrick - you do know how to keep us all guessing and stressed out to the max! Your poor mum, it's hard enough for the rest of us! Keep strong Jo, we're all wishing and hoping for a swift resolution and a healthy P at the end of this one.

Logged on especially to see if there were any updates and I can see there's a glimmer of hope although my nerves were shot to pieces reading through the new posts.

I'm on holiday abroad and will keep logging on for news as long as I can find free WiFi.

Fingers have never been so tightly crossed....

Love and hugs x

Oh Maggie...... now there's an offer that would make any boy feel better x

Jo, I think you should consider printing that picture out and sticking it up some where Mr P can see it, that's the kind of incentive a lad needs at a time like this!

I don't think Mrs. Patrick would be very impressed! :x

How is the little guy doing?

Thanks everyone for the well wishes I'm off to see Patrick just now, his life is very much in the balance. He's being operated on but before that we're taking bloods if his Kidney's are packed in he'll be being pts - i'm off to see him and say my good bye just in case.

x

Just catching up with all this, so sorry to hear Patrick is poorly, it must be incredibly stressful but he's proved himself to be a strong piggie in the past, lets see if he can muster up some more of that strength for you.
I have everything crossed for you both x>>

Big hugs from me & the boys xx
Bev xx

Sorry, I didn't reply fully Patrick has two stones but as he's had so many bladder problems previously we are worried his kidney's maybe compromised and do not wish to put him though a bladder operation only for him to be put to sleep 3 days later.

First thing tomorrow, they will be taking bloods to check his kidney function the test it's self is not 100% but if the kidney's are severly compromised it should show and if this is the case Patrick will not be woken up from the GA, if the kidney's are still working he will have the operation.

He's going home with someone from the vet practice to be fed thoughout the night, the procedure will be first thing.

I've already said my good bye's and told him if he wants to leave tonight then it's fine, I don't want him to suffer.

I just hope there's a positive outcome, but I'm not hopeful.

My only wish is for P to be pain free - once more be it in life or death it's not our choice anymore.

I just dont know what to say, god only knows how you must be feeling, i am almost in tears, Patrick has been through so much since i joined this forum, but he has always come out on top - which i hope he will do again.

I am so sorry lovey, big hugs to you and healing and good luck vibes x millions to patrick x

Aww, bless him :( As hard as it is, I think that Patrick will decide for himself if he has had enough in which case, he will hopefully go in his sleep or during the GA

Patrick has been very strong and brave so far and I shall be thinking of him tonight and tomorrow.

Fingers crossed that his bloods come back normal tomorrow and he can go ahead with the operation but whatever happens, you have done a brilliant job caring for Patrick and he is the most strongest guinea pig I know xx
