My Piggies In Surgery This Morning

Hi, I just wanted to finish this thread with an update, in case anyone in a similar situation finds this thread!
Pleased to report 10 days after surgery. My little brave pig had recovered really well. The Staples came out 3 days later, really easily and the wound looked surprisingly good. He didn't scratch it ever, I put him back with his cage mate and they are closer now then they ever were before. He lost about 80g but is putting it back on slowly. He seems happier then he has for a long while, so I wonder if he was sore before, even in the periods between the absess flairs! It cost £250 for the surgery and meds but right now, I'm thinking it was worth every penny.

That's fantastic. Great start to weekend. we really pls all is ok. I paid 125 for my late piggie op. It is a lot of money and well done. You are a real piggie slave. To Your Piggie. Right pal piggie mum's done good even tho You had a tough few weeks so show us all how much weight you can put on. x
