I feel so horrible. I was holding my lil piggy 1 1/2 year old boy Chestnut, and was sitting on a chair. He usually always stays put on my chest and I cradle him and let him, but today he was jumpy and before I knew it he jumped off my shoulder before I could grab him. He fell, face first four feet down onto a hard tile floor. I let him walk a little at first to see if he broke anything (which I believe he broke a toe on his front paw. He keeps licking it now) but what I’m mostly worried about is his teeth, he knocked out one of his front teeth, it’s completely gone. I’m scheduling an appointment with his vet tomorrow but I’m so scared, will he be okay? Has anything like this happened to anyone else before?

Ensure your piggies sees a vet as soon as possible. A fall like that with such injuries needs vet care as he will likely be in pain

You will need to make sure he is still eating enough hay by weighing him and step in with syringe feeding if he stops eating or struggles to eat as much with the tooth missing. Pain can also stop them from eating so you will need to be prepared to step in to support him until you can get to the vet
