They dont really get colds like we do. I'm a bit confused. Never mind hes ok now. Guinea pigs do sneeze from dusty hay getting up their nostrils thoughHe had a cold. Don't know what the liquid was called.
I didn't smell it.Did it smell like bananas?
They're fine now have the Bluebell Hideaway oneMy boars are teenagers and often bicker, it is normal, but it will happen more in a small cage. I’m surprised you can even buy one as small as yours.
I have the bluebell, it’s great, it also gives a good insight into my piggies, almond generally lives upstairs and pecan downstairs. Where as in the evening/when it is cold they happily share a hide in their indoor cage.
Line it out with correx . Wont get soaked in urineThey're fine now have the Bluebell Hideaway one
About lining it with something. I have lined my bluebell hutch with plastic sheeting (obviously making sure it is well covered so little piggies can’t chew it) as it’s a lot cheaper but does the job perfectly. Some people use lino.I'll get a picture for you tomorrow. Please can we see more photos of the boys when they settle into their nice new home?
I’ve been following this thread but can’t add to the advice.
Glad it’s been helpful

Looks fantastic!Sam was in the hut and Sam goes upstairs he is very clever he walks at the back of the cage as he is going up and does the same going down. I have also put extra sawdust on the stairs to prevent him from slipping. They love there new house. Dean and Sam settled down a while ago just over 3 months old now.
. They will have room to escape if they don't like something. My reply is very late but I personally do not encourage neutering. If you don’t need to neuter them, don’t. There’s always a risk of losing your piggy. I lost my boy, Nickel, to post-op neutering complications. I loved him very much and I wish I would’ve never made the decision of getting him neutered. Don’t risk it. I know there are plenty of piggies that turned out okay after neutering, but there are some that don’t make it.I have 2 boars. Sam & Dean. They are 3 months old on the 12/11/18. My vet has said I need to neuter both of them. Due to the fact that Dean keeps bullying Sam. Most of the time they cuddle up together and even sleep next to each other. I don't know what to do. Please can someone offer some advice. Dean is the all Black one. Sam is the Black and Brown one
Thank you
.

If I remember right, neutering will not help with the aggressive behavior. If all fails with your piggies getting along, separate them. My girls are cagemates because they did not get along at all.
My advice is there’s always a plan B![]()
