So I just took on a new baby (probably 8 or so weeks? Super tiny) and I popped her into a pen (not the cage so neutral ground)
My female is totally chill, eating hay and ignoring everyone but my neutered male is rumbling and chasing the baby - I know it’s normal to establish dominance but how do I know when bonding is “successful” or when I need to separate
There’s also a box in the pen with multiple exits so they can hide

Hi

Please take the time to read our bonding guide. It also has a chapter on baby bonding and several group bonding videos with young piggies. Piggies won't hurt babies; they are also far too agile.
Here is the link: Bonding and Interaction: Illustrated social behaviours and bonding dynamics
