Today the big slave (the boring one) has been very busy.
She keeps going into the garden and muttering about 'snuggle safes' and 'thermal covers'.
I don't know what those things are, but they don't sound very exciting.

Every time she comes back inside I wheek loudly to remind her that it's been a while since I had any fresh grass.
She says boring big slave things like ''grass really isn't an option right now Ruby" which is probably just code for 'I can't be bothered to set up your outdoor run right now'.
The big slave can be very unreasonable.

So after being told that grass is not an option right now, 30 minutes later she comes back into the house and announces that the rabbits are out on the lawn.
She went on to say she doesn't know why she wastes her time with snuggle safes and hutch covers, when the rabbits just go an sit on the lawn anyway.

So tonight I am very cross that the rabbits get lawn time and I don't.
I shall probably have to give the big slave a nip later on to remind her that it's been ages since I had lawn time.
I hope I can go back on the lawn very soon.

Love Ruby x

Dear Ruby

You wouldn't like lawn time at all at the moment. Your lawn isn't the luscious verdant green that you remember it has turned a very odd colour. It has turned white! You really wouldn't like to eat white grass and you would find it very cold. You really are better inside with your boring slave and your favourite slave in the warm. We know cos we used to live outside when the grass had turned white.

Lots of wheeks

Dear Ruby,

Sometimes (on the 0.01 in ten occasions) you have to admit defeat and let the boring slave win. But there’s no rule against making your displeasure known, however wrong you may be. A nip a day keeps the slave in line!

Stay warm.

Dear Ruby,

My slave kept going in and out of the back door this afternoon. I got so excited waiting for some cut grass. But everytime she gets inside and look at me waiting by our cage's door, she says "No grass today Vegas, it's too cold." If it's too cold, then why the flipping heck she keeps on going out?! She just made me so excited and then for what? NOTHING! Okay, she said she was putting bird food coz the poor birds got empty bird feeders. BUT HOW ABOUT MY EMPTY STOMACH?!?!?! Sometimes I really don't understand these hoomins!

Anyway, hopefully you'll get other treats. I'm definitely expecting loads of treats later. Rocky and Sierra seem to not bother without grass. They're crazy that's why.

Wheeking for grass,
Vegas

Dear Ruby, we were very upset to hear that you are not getting lawn time or grass picked for you.
We think that snow is just an excuse for slaves who can’t be bothered.
We agree that some nips are an appropriate response to such neglect.
Love from Priscilla, Phoebe and Micah

PS - our slave loves the snow bunny

It is always nice to know I am not in this alone.

There is some good news though.
I still did not get lawn time today, but I did get an apple branch.
I forgot not to be excited about it in front of the big slave and was throwing it all around the cage and really chewing it.
It was a very lovely branch though.
