......... unless a silver agouti abyruvian falls into my lap. I was sure I was safe on that one, all my favourites rolled into one. I'd never seen one, didn't think they existed. Meet Nugget who fell into my lap today!

He's in quarantine in the bedroom at the moment, all being well we are hoping he and Caspy will bond in two weeks time. This has been a horrible year piggie wise, it's so lovely to be leaving it behind on an exciting high note.

Oooooh swoon - toot toot!
Now that is one cute little man :luv:
Welcome Nugget, make sure you play nicely with Caspy ;)
I think you may have fallen on to your paws with @piggieminder
Shame you fell into her lap like that ;)
Fancy you being an exact match

Congratulations on your gorgeous lad & hopefully 2020 & beyond will bring a prolonged positive piggy period for you.
The girls said can they see some more pics... as mum's too shy to ask..... Cough splutter... Shurrup girls  you're all blushing 😘
💖 Not me 💕 xx

For a second there, I thought it was "Soft Poop" written on the tub! 🤣

Such a pretty baby! 😍

:)) OH and I have both just said we are hoping for a long run of healthy happy piggies now. We worked it out this afternoon that in the last 18 months we only had a few weeks where I was not medicating, abscess bathing and or syringe feeding. So definitely no soft poop allowed! This little one has incredibly soft hair though, I've never felt such soft hair on a piggy. I've really only had a quick look at him, he was weighed while he was being transferred from a box to his cage, we're leaving him alone now to settle. I really hope he turns out to have abytude like Spike and Bracken had, I'm missing abytude.

Finding him was a complete accident, we really weren't looking, but after saying what I had he was meant to be.
Thank you so much for your good wishes, the support is appreciated, there have been times recently when I've felt the piggie illnesses have been my fault, with the help of the forum and a real piggie expert vet I have now found I know it's not.
Tell the girls, once Nugget has settled in there will be loads of pigtures of him for the forum, I only took one quick one today.

Tiggy my long haired aby says he looks perfect 💖
She was an accidental addition for me too, she was a scrappy looking bundle of fluff when I got her (my first ever shop bought piggy) she was sad & alone out the back as her 2 previous batches of pad mates all picked on her, one hug & a furry raspberry blown into her neck & I was smitten
She's quite vocal still, but loves cuddles & snuggles. She has the whole abytude thing too.

Glad you have found a good vet & I very much doubt that any of your Guineas illnesses/problems have been your fault, they all take it in turns to stress us out to the max I'm sure! ;)
I know my 4s ringworm outbreak in February-April, then Squiggles mange mites April all seemed all a bit too much. Topped off by me catching ringworm from them at the end of it :soz:

I think my head needed nearly as much support as their health!
I believe it's a generic piggy persons downfall to blame ourselves for all their ailments, it just goes to show us what dedicated, warm, caring & loving personalities we all have :D

Big hug for 2020 love to all xx

He is lovely. What is his story?

I have to admit he has come from a pet shop, we went for nuggets yesterday (hence the name Nugget). I'm usually really good at wearing blinkers as I walk past the animals but he caught my eye and as it turns out after a sleepless night thinking about him my heart. After losing Spike at the beginning of December it meant we had a single boy. Caspy has been living alongside Rusty and Peanut quite happily. I'd not been in touch with rescues as I'd no plans to add another one. I know we shouldn't buy from pet shops but this was a case of me letting my heart rule for once, I was really hoping he'd gone today as I approached the shop. I've got everything crossed he'll eventually bond with Caspy, if not plan B is to have them living alongside (the C&C is big enough to split).

Sounds like my Brathlys - mention you have a certain preference on another piggy post, and hey presto, up comes the rescue with 'We have your perfect problem piggy tailor made for you, including free delivery as you are on the way to my holiday...' :D

Enjoy and all the best for your own bonding success! 😍
