I know I can't stay on the forum now but I wanted to say Thank you to everybody that has helped me over the last year. I really appreciate it. I'm very sorry I couldn't use a rescue. I will carry on volunteering at my local rescues and giving back to them. Goodbye x

East Peckham is three hours away on the train/bus with changes. Charlie isn't in perfect health and it stresses him out when he has to go on the train. If we lived closer, I would try.

As Wiebke has said, East Peckham GP Rescue (which is PB approved) is in Kent (West), our nearest station, Paddock Wood, is just 5 mins away by car and Margate/Ramsgate to Paddock Wood, which is on the direct mainline, is about an hour by train - so not quite sure where you've got your timings from? As it is, I don't actually have any single boars currently available, however, for anyone else looking for piggies in Kent, I just felt that I needed to point out where we actually are!

Hey why leave? I like your posts.

Exactly, I can't see any reason for you to leave the forum. You've done nothing but conduct yourself with dignity throughout the whole piggy search. Stick around, we would like to know if you're successful with your piggy quest. ;)

HI Kenzo Sometimes things don't go exactly as you would like. So you have to do what you know you can do. I hope you feel you can continue and keep involved with the Forum. I have found reading about people's issues and solutions really helpful.

Just to let you know I recently bonded a 6 year old male with a 2 year old male (a proper bruiser). My heart was in my mouth during the initial introductions but I read the advice on this Forum and persevered. It worked out and they both live happily together (with occasional rumbles but no fights).

I hope whatever you do it works out for you.

Don't be silly why can't you stay? There are loads of people on here who have brought from a pet shop, you volunteer at a rescue and have done your best to find Charlie a friend via that route. You have Charlies best interests at heart. Don't leave, i'm sure I speak for many others in saying that no one wants you too x

You don't need to leave. =)

This is just a forum that encourages rescue, it doesn't mean you have to or you will be kicked out. =) My most recent guinea pig was from a petshop too because like you I was unable to find a boar to bond with my grieving piggy and I didn't want to see him so depressed and went with a baby boar from a petshop to pair him with.

You tried your best to get one from a rescue. =)

You certainly don't need to leave the forum! The forum is rescue friendly in no way does it mean you have to have rescue piggies to belong here. You have tried to explore rescues but sometimes things just don't work out and you have to look at other alternatives to get a friend for your piggie. I really hope you reconsider leaving, you are a lovely poster and a very dedicated piggie mummy, it would be a shame if you left.
