Partner got the shock of his life the other day when he poked his head into the piggie room and found Noodle perched on top of the carrot cottage! Neither of the boys have ever managed to get up there before. It's the rabbit sized carrot cottage and usually they eat the roof by getting up on their back legs, and I have to tip it over for them to get the middle bits when they've chewed through most of the base
We went on a stealth mission over the next few days trying to catch the little rascal on camera. Partner eventually saw him getting up there and he did it by jumping from the bottom of the cage straight onto the roof? I had no idea guinea pigs could jump like that! Is Noodle just acrobatic or am I ignorant on piggie powers? Tofu seems not to have learned how to do it, unless he's sneakier and I just haven't caught him
I've seen Noodle getting down a few times now and he jumps down quite gracefully to be honest, so I'm not concerned about him injuring himself. I have made sure to move all hideys with a roof away from the edge of the cage though...
I think I might have seen other piggies on here learn how to get up there? Does anyone else find their piggies in strange places they shouldn't be?
