Junior Guinea Pig
Nora has her bladder stone removed yesterday and I was going to update here since I had asked for advice but 2 of the 5 kittens also had surgery yesterday! Nora is doing well, the surgery went without complication. She spent most of yesterday hiding and was a bit lethargic. Today she is out a bit more but definitely not her usual bossy self. She’s probably annoyed at my every 30 minute checks to make sure she’s doing okay lol! I spent the whole time all the babies were in surgery pacing my home nervously, I was especially nervous about Nora as she isn’t the young lady she used to be!
The kittens which I’ve also posted on here because I wanted to share them with someone and I don’t do the whole Facebook etc thing lol also had surgery. 2 of them had their eyes removed yesterday from severe untreated conjunctivitis. They are also doing well and recovering wonderfully. We did find out the 3rd baby with the pink eye will not need her eye removed but is cross eyed from the damage the illness did. All 5 kittens are expected to make a full recovery which is wonderful news as it’s been touch and go in the few days they’ve been with us.
So in other words last night we didn’t get much sleep around here, did I also mention I have a 5 month old teething baby?
oh well better days are to come!
