O my guinea pig

What will happen when there is one guinea pig left in the shop? We were in today getting more supplies for our set up and there was one left all alone. I thought this was so sad and wanted to bring it home! Would be hard to source another single piggy though to bond with it whilst it’s still young.

This is why I avoid going into pet shops. It breaks my heart seeing solo piggies.

It really is so sad, I don’t have enough experience to get it and then help it bond with another. We don’t have big enough space for 3, so it’s 2 and will wait until I get the right 2. I couldn’t leave one behind I swear my house would be a zoo if I took in all these animals

Welcome to the forum.
You clearly have a big heart and when you do get piggies they will have a wonderful home.

My boy Micah is a result of heart riding roughshod over brain.
He was up for adoption as a single piggy who couldn’t be bonded.
He now lives very happily with 2 sows.
I was lucky in being able to cope with him, but I can understand how you feel.
