Oh dear I have two ill piggies - CCT here I come

I will be staying with parents until saturday but i have a doctors appointment of my own that I really can't miss on monday next week if vedra feels that she still needs to see Jive after the weekend then he will live with mummy until he is back to full health as I would hate to take him home too early. Although the girls will come back to bristol with me whatever happens with Jive, as leaving her with two ill piggies would be too much for her.

I think my mum is still a bit bemused that I am home..... but daddy's cooking is amazing and worth the drive even when the piggies are well!
 
Jive is back to his cheeky self this evening and I nearly lost him under the bed whilst i was changing his vetbed to a clean piece the little monkey. He is also back attacking his house! Furby seems to be eating aswell on the daktarin gel as she was on the metacam so just going to carry on the fungal treatment and keep on weighing her.

Fingers crossed for the visit to the cct tomorrow, i just wish i couldwave a wand and make it all better straight away!

Lovely to hear Jive is getting back to his usual self, and that Furby is doing ok.

No problem at all with the loan of the cage. Thanks for helping me shift all the newspapers that I'd forgotten were loaded in it! :))
 
Well Jive is having to stay at my parents when i go home on saturday as he needs to be seen in a week. Vedra decided against draining the abscess again this evening as she is worried about starting the bleeding again, so it is still swollen some of which is antibiotic packing material that will dissolve. He is happy in himself if not a bit bored being on his own... he has had a few dates through bars with the girls which i am not sure do not just frustrate him more? Much as i am going to miss him i know he is best off staying here near the cct. (the same can not be said for me i want to go to bristol and i want to go now! :( )

Just though i would update you Furby is now back upto her normal weight of 850g and I am over the moon! Mum says Jive is quite happy and eating like a horse and is enjoying all the hand picked grass! :)

Will do a medical update on Jive after he has been to the CCT on thursday!
 
Great news on Furby, and it sounds like Jive is enjoying his little holiday, although I'm sure he will be very glad to get back home with you and his girls. :)
 
Bad news on Jive

Well spoke to mum briefly this evening Jive has had to be readmitted to the CCT he now has two abscesses down there8... and due to the bleeding last time they lanced the primary they have decided to keep him in until atleast saturday or sunday but maybe longer. My poor little monkeyman is in the wars proper although mum says there is nothing wrong with his appetite and he is still a cheek wee b***er!

Fingers crossed for my funny little guy! Furby and cottonbud are rooting for you8...
 
Oh no, poor Jive! He's in good hands, I know you'd rather he's with you but hopefully Vedra will get him sorted and he'll be right as rain in no time. Hugs to you, you must be so worried! xx
 
I'm so sorry to read this, he has certainly had enough now...

Jive you silly man, hurry up and get well! Your ladies and mummy need you at home!
 
No real news Jive is staying at the CCT till atleast wednesday! I am missing him so much!

Poor chap, it won't be too long until he is back with you and his ladies though.

Abscesses are bloomin' tricky things!
 
I know I think the problem is that he is a bleeder every time they clean him up he bleeds alot which means he is harder to clean up, going to ask about the antibiotic furryfriends suggests for abscesses if it does not sort it out soon.
 
Jive is now back "home" with my parents near the CCT he no longer has a abscess but is having problems with fluid refilling where the abscess was as it was so big and deep. Hopefully it will not refill again fingers crossed and i can go get him home for the girls at the weekend! Hopefully one last appointment at the CCT on thursday and that is it! Please Mr Jive hurry up and get well your mummy and mrs are missing you loads
