Oh dear I have two ill piggies - CCT here I come

Jive is now back "home" with my parents near the CCT he no longer has a abscess but is having problems with fluid refilling where the abscess was as it was so big and deep. Hopefully it will not refill again fingers crossed and i can go get him home for the girls at the weekend! Hopefully one last appointment at the CCT on thursday and that is it! Poor wee Jive is back in the hospital 8... He is going to need an operation to open him up fully to see what is going on inside him?:( I am dreading the bill! But what I really want is him back well and and safe and sound with us and the girls

Please send him lots of positive vibes!

operation will be tomorrow evening so i am told! Found out why we are having all this trouble! The vet that does all the other neuters at the rspca in bristol for the rescues did not do jive :( he got operated on by someone who obviously did not know what they are doingmallethead! Hence i am rather cross as this is really mounting up cost wise and can't be at all good for him (although i am sure he is having the time of his life on oxbow everything :)) ) The CCT have written me a letter to give to the vet who did poor wee jives op so they can learn how to do it properly!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow evening!

Be a good boy Jive your mummy and furby and cottonbud are missing you! :(

I am so sorry that you and your poor Jive have to go through this all.

Sending your wee man my vibes - at least, he couldn't be in beter hands now!

PS: I hope that your original vets will refund you. You can sue them...
 
I'm so sorry to hear this... The least you can expect from a vet you give your piggy to is that they know what they're doing! Aaargh, I'm angry too! I'm sorry for all of you...

Jive has not been operated on due to an emergency surgical case taking precedent, but he is non urgent, and vedra says that he is being very friendly, cheeky and eating really well so not worried about him with regard to that aspect, but should happen over the weekend! So please keep those paws and fingers crossed for him :)
 
Poor Jive although it sounds as though he is oblivious to all the drama. The same cant be said for his poor worried mummy. Good luck Jive and cant wait to hear that you are home and recovering after your op!

Well I have eventually got hold of vedra and it looks like there is no need to operate whoo hoo happy days! All the swelling has gone! Vedra thinks that because he was bleeding into the abscess when it was being cleaned that the swelling was a haematoma which has now dispersed and fingers crossed i can go get him from my parents next weekend! I am really really happy!
 
He was going to be operated on today! So glad he is near enough back to normal can't wait to see him on friday evening!

Jive has made it back to my parents house and i am waiting and knowing my sister will never recieve a piccie of my monkey man! whoo hoo going to fetch him friday assuming no swelling occurs between now and friday! :))
 
We have a Jive! We are on route home via chris's parents and a friends tomorrow for lunch so the girls are home alone tonight but i am sure they will be fine. So fingers crossed we will rebond the trio together on monday. Will post pics once i am home....
 
I'm sure it will all go fine, they'll be glad to have their man back and he'll be glad to have his ladies! It'll probably be a bit mad the first day but I'm sure they'll soon settle. :)

Lovely to meet him, he looks fantastic, a very happy and healthy little chap!
 
It was lovely to cuddle gwen and i hope she continues to improve there is such a marked difference between her now and her a month ago!
 
Thank you, I am really pleased you noticed, she really is a different pig. Still pushing poor old Jasmine about now though. I was worried for Gwen only a month or so ago, now I'm worried for Jasmine all because Gwen's better! rolleyes
