You can put it outside I suppose ! and for £8.99 ! They aint 98) loony at all for that price !

Word of warning with those, one of our boys managed to vault over them, we had to get taller fences!

My goodness! I've only just caught up with this thread - I think my two are too lazy to try to jump over, they certainly haven't managed it yet. Oh well, obviously not suitable for every piggie. I've used mine indoors and out but I don't take my eyes off them when they are in these, I do really like them but you've got to be vigilant!

Thanks for pointing that out Marty, I've been recommending these left right and centre and will now cease to do so, unless I repeat your warnings! :)

Hi All,

Cobeweg thanks for your message on this one! :) Looking at the vid they will be too small for mine. Sunshine jumps out of his basket all the time and Twinkle and Cuzzy try to so they would be out of these in a shot!

The £18 one on Zooplus can more be added to make it bigger?

Thanks!

Louise
:)

I wasn't trying to say "don't use them", just wanted to point out that they're not quite high enough if you have nimble or inquisitive piggies! ;D None of our other boys could get over them, although Blaze did used to try to push them apart!

cool! wow, what a crafty piggy Marty! i think mine might well do that, cos bertie managed to climb all the way up the stairs, when i turned my back for 5 minutes! ;D ;D ::)

Hehe marty u have a crafty piggy! Mine are still tiny so they can't jump over yet but will get a better one when they grow :) x

Oh no, I was really glad you pointed it out - I've been telling people their pigs 'probably' won't be able to jump over them - I'd feel so guilty if someone came back to me and their pig had escaped from the pen I'd recommended. I'm glad you posted your video - it made me laugh too, what a bold little boy! :)

I've got two of the indoor pens from zooplus and love them

Great for my piggies although wouldn't use outdoors or unsupervised...my John Anderson can unhook the panels ::) never mind jumping over them (he's too lazy to do that)

But excellent for inside can be used whern it's raining outside, instead of an outdoor run or just for putting them in while you clean their cage.

Absolutely no use for hamsters either..we put our Katie in it and she was out over the top in 2 seconds flat ;D

Hey love why don't you ask if your dad could make you one?
My OH made a wire cage which the boys loved when they could get outside :smitten:
As for Sydney LOL you should be here in Melbourne, just the same at the mo ;D ;D ;D ;D
what about poor old QLD? they've beaten every record for rainfall in one day :o :o :o

Good luck, another thing why don't you jump onto the local rspca site and see if they have cages that you could adapt O0
