I am so sorry; what a shock for you! At least your vet could give you the - very scant and very cold - comfort that there was nothing more that you could have done for her.
Abbey was such a beautiful girl (but I am probably a bit biased!)

Oh no, I'm so sorry to read this 
I hope you can take comfort from the fact that she passed naturally, in her own time and that you kept her as comfortable as you possibly could and did everything possible for her.
