Ezra is becoming more confident, he is currently trying to chase Ozzy around the cage. I say trying, because Ozzy is slinking to his bed and Ezra is spinning all around him! :))

Ozzy is so patient, he just looks at the little guy as if to say 'what ARE you doing?'

They have been eating at the food bowl together, sleeping together, Ezra follows Ozzy around everywhere. And more amazingly, Ozzy popcorned (just once) for the first time in a long while. :)

We have quite a way to go yet, but I am going to weigh Ozzy again later and see if he has lost anymore weight. He is eating more now so fingers crossed he has turned the corner.

Thank you Ezra for being the amazing 'helper' :)

I am so pleased to hear that Ozzy is improving so much and that Ezra has been such a help.

Very quickly, as I'm going out very soon...I have just weighed Ozzy and he has gone from 710g to 722g. A step in the right direction!

I am hoping that he will soon be up to his usual 950g. I realise that this will take time, but 12g in a couple of days is ok I think. :)

Ah it just breaks my heart to hear he misses his little buddy :( thats too depressing :((
I'm glad he's eating...oh poor thing...

Things continue to go really well for the boys. The food bowl was empty for the first time last night when I did the last refill rounds. :)

Ezra just snuggles up to Ozzy all the time, and Ozzy is quite happy to let the little one be his shadow. It seems a brilliant match! Mind you, Ozzy is so laid back and calm I would have been surprised if it hadn't worked! :))

I will be doing a round of cage cleaning later, so will take a couple of pictures of the boys together. :)

I have just read the whole thread and I just want to kiss Jo at Millhaven! She is a saint!

So Glad Ozzy seems to have turned a corner, i hope he keeps it up!

Cant wait to see the pics!

xx

Oh gosh - this has had me in floods of tears 8...
What a sad but beautiful story and am sending Ozzy and Gibson moosive hugs :)p
Our piggies are so precious to us all and this is such an inspiration...has made my day, thank you for sharing this with us x

Ah it's great how things turned out...it might be hard to believe but I feel MUCH better right now after having read that some piggies in the world are feeling better :)

I'm really glad your little man is putting his weight back on! :) :)

This thread does make me laugh (and cringe a bit!) as my boys are absolute whoppers compared to your Ozzy (at his healthy weight) :red

Ozzy at his healthy weight is my smallest piggy. Well, except tiny Ezra! They range right up to 1550g (Finn)

Everyone says how huge my piggies are...but I like chunky pigs! :))

I wanted really chunky pigs too! But Hazelnut at 2 years old has bottomed out at 1300grams and Peanut Butter at 1 year old is just over 1200 grams. I am jealous of your Finn's size.

Phew! glad its not just me that has big boys, and compared to Finn they don't seem too big any more either! Tango is 1350ish and Cash 1280ish. Anyone who sees them always says they look fat though :( ...even the Vet was a bit taken aback when she weighed Mr T last time!
