Onyx has a UTI

Saw the signs of her hunching up late yesterday so tried in vain to get a wee sample...... no go SIGH ......
Tried again this morning, spent over an hour starting to clean out their house with me more focuses on what Onyx was doing... :...
I called vets and got in pronto.......... he had to maniplulate as she just wouldn't give a sample and yes she cried out :0 Poor Velvet started to cry too as she knew her sister Onyx was in pain :( I had bought some beans and cucumber to give them so they both had treats.
She's on baytril 0.45 twice daily and for next couple of days 2 drops of metacam twice daily too. I'll be giving probiotics a few hours after or before the meds too.
Some healing vibes would be appreciated for her :) Thanks xxxxxxxxx
 
Aaaaawwww I hope ** okay and me gizmo lillypad and tinkle bells are sending healing vibes all the way and have our paws and fingers crossed

I hope Onyx gets well soon - if it doesn't clear within the next 4 days I would have her Xrayed better to be on the safe side. x

Update.....

Little Onyx is feeling much better, it must've been all the WONDERFUL healing vibes from you all THANKYOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

She is taking her medicine.......not easily mind you but i'm persistent and i just calmly talk to her and stroke her head :) She's a bit sick of me picking her up so often to check her :)) Plus by the time i do probiotics and meds that's 4 times a day i'm disturbing her rolleyes She has lost a little bit of weight but i knew that would happen........SIGH i hate meds they do upset their tummies. THank goodness for probiotics!

Oh Glynis I'm only just seeing this now! I'm glad to hear that Onyx is feeling better, but me and the girls are sending her healing vibes ans lots of wheeks, I may have even wheeked myself on her behalf x>>x>>x>>x>>

Can piggies have cranberries or even their juice, I personally know what pain UTI can cause and I'm a big believer in cranberry juice and barley water for myself.x

Hi yes they can have the light cranberry :) She does like this very much drool
