Junior Guinea Pig
Hi,
Two weeks after loosing Rascal, I had to run Oreo to the vets last night as he wasn't himself, sat in the corner and limping around. After what happened with Rascal, I thought it better to be over cautious.
Anyway, vet said he was alright and gave him a shot of anti-inflammatory and sent us on our way.
My daughter has arrived today and noticed that he has a sore under his belly, which I can't believe the vet didn't spot and this has raised a couple of questions.
Firstly, is Oreo actually a boy as we thought, I've put a picture below, so if some more experienced owners could confirm, I would appreciate it, as Rascal was definitely a boy, so that has got alarm bells ringing a little.
Also, what's best for the sore? I've been bathing it with boiled water. Should I head back to the vets with him, or should it heal on it's own?
Genital area
Sore
Thanks for any advice
