Our Guinea pigs are still sharing our bedroom - it’s been lovely & a bit longer than anticipated.

We can’t access our wardrobe, as I thought using the outside run would be great. This means I did human washing at the weekend, couldn’t put anything away, and despite the weather being a bit cooler, this week, we have to wear the same(but clean) clothes from last week!

I keep falling over getting in & out for cleaning. As the run has taller sides than the CC grids.
Herman’s decided that my heals constantly need nipping.

Wally’s taken a break from bar chewing- not much to attack- and the grids I used on the divide are covered. That is they were until 3:30am this morning when some werepig decided to chew cardboard like a looney. I tried hay distraction, which worked briefly & then just as I was snoozing back off, loud chewing of cardboard began again.



I love our piggie boys, but I think it might be time for them to move back to their permanent home. 🩵

Us humans just need to finish painting a couple of walls first.
 
Where did you get Wallys hammock from? I want one with a stand big enough for Sir George.

Wally’s hammock is a bit cobbled together. We have an upside down ikea children’s stool with closed hook things, mini carabiners & a hammock from fuzzbutt.
( I couldn’t find an affordable stand when I was looking)

I think @piggieminder ‘s hammock set up sounds much better.
 
I have just ordered a couple of these hammocks for Bubble and Truffle. They have only just arrived today and I haven't got around to opening them yet, but they look lovely in the pictures and are a reasonable price compared to some about. I nearly ordered the Trixie one, but as you can get spare hammocks for these that will make things better with two boars! I ended up ordering the 'whole package' (stand, 2 hammocks and fringe) for £25.49 per set. To make matters worse he has barrelled onto my knee bringing lots of hay & just wiped his wet bum on me, presumably after weeing somewhere on the pee pad(on the sofa).

Boys are always in the toilet phase - farting and wiping bums etc. Besides, what are humans for except to be used as mats, towels etc?

How did you have Mr Trumpy bum/Master Boris there without hearing a MEGA CHUFF?
He was such a beautiful boy who did massive loud farts.......
