We are waiting for our shed to arrive and plan to put the hutch in it. Conscious that it will arrive after fireworks night. Do you think it’s better to keep them outside facing the wall with blanket / duvet on top. Or bring them inside for one night? I realise the change in temperature could be worse for them so interested in getting the groups advice on this. Thank you 🙏🏻

The advice would be to bring them in to be safe if the fireworks are close.
Keep the room as cool as you can and get them back out as soon as possible.

Fireworks, Thunderstorms and Builders: Pactical tips for guinea pig owners

My own piggies live in a shed and I do leave them in the shed with curtains on the shed windows and a blanket over the enclosure. I find that being in there where it’s familiar is more reassuring for them than coming indoors where they don’t know. I tend to go and sit out with them if I hear fireworks but they aren’t really bothered by them - they may stop chewing for a moment at the first firework but soon get back on with it and are fine with subsequent fireworks
