Haha thats all they are fit for! I was complaining that the Daily Mirror is shrinking, I get my papers of my Nan and Mum they waste their money, but then they don't have the net!
 
i always find papers in the upstairs office when the drivers sit in here with a brew and read them and then leave them for me ;)

Well as i was the one who started this convo going i may as well get it deleted now as I'm not bothered about P@H etc anymore as i shop there etc and have told them about the balls etc and all i can do now is just keep looking to see if they still sell them or not

Obviously they are gonna keep getting emails etc but not being moaned at just simple advice about he balls etc and I'm sure they wouldnt mind as were not nagging them or anything O0

Why delete a thread so full of information and some actual resolution worried customers have had from the companies? So the conversation might be over, and you're "not bothered" - just don't post again. Close it perhaps, I don't think it warrants deletion.
 
I think this thread is quite important, even if it only highlights to new members how dangerous these balls are. I am in total agreement that the manufacturers are to blame, not the stores. I only emailed P@H because I overheard a member of staff telling a new guinea pig owner that the balls were 'essential' for guinea pigs. I dont blame the member of staff for this, I just felt that staff should know how dangerous the balls are, that way when an angry customer comes in claiming the ball has hurt their pigs back, they cant say the staff didnt warn them.

The packaging still has not been changed, I went it today for hay. But, I am giving them til thursday, which is what they asked. After thursday, all of my emails will be directed at the manufacturers.

I also noticed tonight that savic make wheels for guinea pigs too! How can they claim to make great products for pets if they dont know which species needs what?
 
We won't be deleting this thread as it contains lots of useful information.

Members are reminded however of the forum rules about politeness etc when posting.

Yeah no need to delete, there are loads of helpful advice here. Just because sometimes we may not agree doesn't mean threads have to be removed. :)
 
Oh right - i just thought itd get you in trouble thats all (the forum) as what PP said about closing the forum about making comments about other sites etc :P

But that was on a childrens forum so it may not be the same although i didnt get what PP was on about the dummy thing though :D

sunshine its not that i disagree at all - i made this thread about the guinea pig balls and just thought it was going off the subject here and there and getting out of hand ;D Plus i thought another forum was banned cause of the moaning on forums etc like PP said

sorry i answered loads there its just that whenever i pressed post it said i cant as people replied ;D so i may as well reply here than reply again :D
 
Hehe now it's getting confused. Sorry ILA I thought you wanted it removing because of the difference of opinion! :)

I dont think PPs opinion was different from ours, I think she just wanted us to make sure we were not blaming sales assistants. Or that is what I understood from it. I dont blame the sales assistants though, and I dont think anybody else does, so its OK.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion, and everybody is entitled to speak up if something concerns them, so I think this thread is fine!

yeah i think its fine too now and its not the assistants fault but they are the only ones there at the time ;D
 
Yep we all want the same thing at the end of the day and hopefully we have achieved that.
Or at least we've made a start anyway. :)
